BEER TASTING (Knights’ Hall, Žofín Palace)
It’s hard to imagine a food festival in Prague without beer. Throughout the world, the Czech Republic is associated primarily with this golden nectar.
We have invited two leading beer experts to the festival – the chief brewer at Pilsner Urquell Václav Berka and Pavel Prùcha. Together they will be supervising a tasting of nine different kinds of leading Czech beers.
The beer tasting will take place in the beautiful cellar rooms of the Knights’ Hall, Žofín Palace. You will be able to relish the unique flavours and appreciate the special characteristics of each beer. There will also be a selection of tasty recipes prepared by Mr. Berka to complement the individual beers.
After the tasting you will be given a brochure with details about beer and the complementary recipes.
Beer tastings will take place on each day of the festival at the following times:
3-4 p.m.
5-6 p.m.d
7-8 p.m.
Places will be restricted to a small number to keep the atmosphere nice and intimate, so come in time!
