Boating has been enjoyed on the River Vltava since ancient times. What better way to get away from the stress of daily life than to row or peddle a boat on the river – an oasis of calm amid the historic centre of town.
The S.P.L.A.V. boat rental on Žofin Island has now been in operation for 17 years. A family-run service, it is operated by the grandson (Roman Halama) of the original proprietor (Mr. Vozerovský).
Traditional row boats and modern pedal boats are available for hire. As a special treat at the PRAGUE FOOD FESTIVAL, we can arrange for a picnic hamper full of festival goodies to be delivered to your rented boat. Enjoy the beautiful panorama of Prague from the river!
