PRESS CONFERENCE

A press conference for the 2009 PRAGUE FOOD FESTIVAL (PFF) was held on board the salon steamer Nepomuk on 19 May 2009. Among those present were PFF founder Pavel Maurer, Deputy Mayor of Prague 1 Daniel Hodek, Zdeněk Bergman (owner of the First General Boating Society), moderator Radek John, actress Jitka Schneiderová and PFF organizer Monika Maurerová. There was a popular blindfold tasting session, which was won by Radek John, and journalists were treated to a true gourmet experience by chef Roman Paulus from the Radisson Blu Hotel’s Alcron Restaurant. Among the delicacies served were chilled asparagus soup, marinated St. Jacob's mussels with cauliflower puree and rucola cake with raspberries.
